1 基本的な関係代名詞の種類who / which / whose / that
I want to be a baseball player < who can excite a large crowd >.
who can excite a large crowd が直前の a baseball playerを説明している。
I want to be a baseball player < who can excite a large crowd >.
This is a book < which our school librarian would like students to read >.
Spider-Man is the hero < that I want to be >!!
This old building is the hospital < which I was born in >.
C 関係代名詞節内に所有格( My sister’s やmy やtheir など)や冠詞( a / an / the )がない場合はwhoseの出番
A student < whose bicycle was stolen yesterday > is asking his friends to help him find it.
The bottle < whose cap is blue > is my mother’s favorite.
→ The bottle with a blue cap is my mother’s favorite.
もしくはwho/thatで代用される。
The salesperson < whom you told me about > must be a new member of a staff.
The salesperson < you told me about > must be a new member of a staff.
The salesperson < that you told me about > must be a new member of a staff.
[ What my teacher said ] made me angry.
This is [what Yuji wanted to told me about].
I don’t know [what is important for you]!!
